Not too long ago two scientists from the University of Manchester were awarded a Nobel Prize for Physics "for groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene". Earlier in the year, the BBC's Click run a feature on Graphene titled "Is Graphene a miracle material?".
